THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for the provision of liquid oxygen equipment & weekly delivery services for the inmate population located at the Federal Correctional Complex located in Butner, North Carolina. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 325120 (Size Standard: 1000 employees). The successful contractor will be responsible for providing 18 reservoirs and weekly oxygen delivery, which is approximately 37,406.25 lbs each year and 18,703.13 lbs for the 6 month period. The contractor will make deliveries once per week on the same day of the week during regular duty hours, 7:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Federal holidays.� The government reserves the right to establish specific days and times for performance of any work under this contract. Emergency Service calls- Normally, all work will occur during normal duty hours.� However, unexpected services may be required in the event of natural disasters or other unscheduled medical requirements.� In the event that servicing is required outside the regular schedule, the contractor shall deliver liquid oxygen within 8 hours of notification.� Please refer to the attached Statement of Work for more details.� The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contracts with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The contract period shall consist of a 12-month base period from December 1, 2022 to November 30, 2023 with four (4) 12-month option periods for renewal along with a 6 month option period. �A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. �Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. �All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Market Survey Questionnaire will be available on or about October 24, 2022, and will be distributed solely through the SAMs website www.SAM.gov.� All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. �Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The response date for the market survey is October 31, 2022. �No collect calls will be accepted. �No telephone request or written requests for the market survey will be accepted. �All responses to the Market Survey Questionnaire must be submitted via email to ldthomas@bop.gov. �If you have any questions, please send all correspondence to the aforementioned email.� Please note: All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System For Award Management (SAM) database.
