- SOURCES SOUGHT FROM: 10th Contracting Squadron ����������� � United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) CO, 80840 SUBJECT: Sources Sought for Replenishment of Hatchery Fish at United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) SOURCES SOUGHT:� THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUOTATION BUT INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY!� This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government.� All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The USAFA 10th Contracting Squadron is requesting information from potential providers of Fish Hatchery Services. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is FA700023Q0001 and shall be used to reference any written responses to this source sought. United Sates Air Force Academy (USAFA) anticipates a requirement that is being considered under a small business set-aside program.� The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed is 112511.� The size standard for NAICS is $3.25 Million USD.�� The requirement is to provide hatchery-reared rainbow trout in order to restock the recreational fishing lakes on USAFA as well as Farish Recreational Area. The contractor shall deliver 9 - 11 inch, whirling disease negative, rainbow trout to the five recreational fishing lakes on USAFA and the three lakes at Farish (approximately 5 miles from Woodland Park, Colorado).� Trout shall be supplied approximately every 4 weeks from April through October. Salient Characteristics:� Items requested are 9 - 11 inch, whirling disease negative, rainbow trout. We are interested in any size business that is capable of meeting this requirement. Market research is being conducted to determine interest, capability, and socio-economic category of potential sources for the requirement.� The government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size), business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, woman-owned small business, veteran-owned small business, or small business) anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers. The Contractor shall provide all management and labor required for the operation and management of providing and delivering hatchery fish to the previously specified locations. Interested and qualified sources are requested to submit the following information to this office by electronic mail by: 14 November 2022 by 12:00 PM Mountain Time. 1) Company name, address, point of contact telephone number, e-mail address, CAGE/DUNS UEI, System for Award Management expiration date. 2) Representation/Certification of small business socio economic status (if applicable). 3) Examples of prior services provided of a similar nature. 4) Would interested contractors want a site visit? 5) What is your estimated pricing of 9-11 inch whirling disease negative rainbow trout per pound? You will not be held to the price as it�s for the Government market research purposes only. 6) What are your standard commercial practices for pricing, quality control, terms and conditions relevant to this requirement? Please feel free to provide a copy of your terms and conditions for this type of service. Interested sources shall respond to this Sources Sought Synopsis no later than 14 November 2022 (12:00 PM Mountain Time). The response must not exceed 5 pages.
