- PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with one base and four one-year options to Omnicell, Inc. 590 E Middlefield Road, Mountain View, CA 94043 for the purpose of providing preventive maintenance, inspection and repair services for the Omnicell Server. The procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, in Fayetteville, AR has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, software, facilities, transportation and supervision necessary to maintain the Omnicell Server system for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) located in Little Rock, Arkansas. Based on market research, and previous acquisition history, it has been determined that Omnicell, Inc. is the only vendor capable of providing all the required preventive maintenance and repair services in accordance with original equipment manufacturer requirements. This notice is being distributed solely through the General Services Administration's website at https://sam.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only emailed responses will be considered. Information received will be utilized solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is at the sole discretion of the Government.
