Description

VA HANDBOOK 6500.6 MARCH 12, 2010 APPENDIX C C-12 Page 1 of Pre-solicitation Notice of Intent to Sole Source Pre-Solicitation Notice of intent to award a sole source contract.  This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract with:    Getinge USA Sales, LLC 1 Geoffrey Way Wayne, NJ 07470 This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate to purchase a Cardiohelp System. Getinge is the sole provider for the item listed. The item is proprietary equipment. Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to FedBizOps (FBO). The following is the system that will be supported by this procurement: Manufacturer Part Getinge BEQ-HLS 7050 USA #SHLS Set Advanced 7.0 Qty 1 Each The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.   The NAICS 339112. The size standard is 1,000. The PSC/FSC is 6515.         Interested persons may contact the Contract Specialist by email at manases.cabrera@va.gov regarding this procurement.  The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
