Description
10 November 2021 -This update is to provide awareness that a DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) for the T-7A Maintenance Training System has been posted. Industry is encouraged to review the SOW and provide comments to the T-7A MTS Contracting Mailbox using the attached Comment Matrix. Comments will be accepted until close of business 7 Jan 2022, however the MTS team looks forward to quality discussions relating to the SOW at the MTS unclassified Industry Days taking place at the upcoming Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation, and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) 2021. For more details on those sessions, please refer to the Industry Day attachment. Please note that the United States Government (USG) will not provide reimbursement of any costs associated with documentation or communication submitted in response to this posting. Any submitted documentation, upon delivery, becomes the property of the USG and will not be returned. These activities do not constitute a solicitation (Request for Proposal or Request for Quotations) or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. These activities do not commit the USGto contract for any supply or service, whatsoever. Furthermore, the USGis not, at this time, seeking proposals. Respondents/Participants are advised that the USG will not reimburse for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to these activities. The United States Air Force (USAF) is conducting market research to identify, as potential sources, companies that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to competently and competitively respond to requirements for the design, development, test, production, integration, installation, and sustainment of the Advanced Pilot Training (APT) (eT-7A) Maintenance Training System (MTS). The purpose of the attached Request for Information (RFI) is to provide an opportunity for interested parties to propose innovative solutions for the MTS, which will train USAF eT-7A aircraft maintenance personnel for decades to come. For the latest eT-7A MTS program status updates, refer to the standalone document titled eT-7A MTS Whats New.pdf.
