- SOURCES SOUGHT FOR AIRFIELD MAINTENANCE IDIQ This sources sought notice is issued for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals, offers, bids and/or quotes. This is not an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation or confirmation the Government will contract for the items contained in the Sources Sought, nor is any commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract implied. Responses to this notice will assist the Government in identifying potential sources for a Small Business set-aside for the solicitation, and in determining whether this approach to secure contracting support is practicable. Respondents are advised the Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Sources Sought. Responses to this notice will not be returned. Any future solicitation, including specifications and/or drawings, will be made available only on the Contract Opportunities website (https://sam.gov/). Interested Parties are solely responsible for monitoring the website for the release of a solicitation package and/or any updates and/or amendments. The 502d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas is conducting market research to determine the existence of interested Small Business sources for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 237990-Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The small business size standard is $39.5 Million. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to obtain information on qualified and experienced contractors capable of providing airfield maintenance at the estimated project magnitude and capable of obtaining the appropriate aggregate and per project bonding to execute task orders for airfield maintenance across Joint Base San Antonio. Major Features of Work The potential scope of work primarily consists of limited slab replacement (taxiway /apron), rubber removal, concrete / asphalt patching, joint seal repair, crack seal repair, spall repair, airfield (marking) painting, located at Joint Base San Antonio, Randolph AFB, Seguin Auxiliary Airfield, and Kelly Field Annex, and San Antonio Port Annex. Ancillary Features of Work Minor features of work may include lighting and signs. The requirement consists of a broad range of work to maintain, repair, and alter airfields throughout Joint Base San Antonio. In accordance with DFARS 236.204 (ii), the estimated construction project magnitude of this requirement is: between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. The estimated construction project magnitude is the anticipated IDIQ ceiling amount. The potential contract type is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Contract. Task orders would be issued as firm fixed price. The contemplated period of performance is a Five-Year ordering period: 1 Oct 23 � 30 Sep 28. The following information is requested in this Sources Sought: 1. Company name, address, point of contact (POC), phone number and POC email address; 2. Unique Entity ID and CAGE Code; 3. Company�s business size and interest in nature of participation, (e.g., prime contractor, teaming partner, primary subcontractor); potential teaming arrangements and delineation between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work that will be accomplished by the teaming partner(s). 4. Past performance examples for this type of work to include procuring agency, location, dollar amount at project completion, whether work was done as the prime contractor, type of contract (fixed price, cost reimbursement, labor hour, etc.). 5. What is your per project and aggregate bonding capacity? 6. Do you propose an NAICS other than (NAICS) Code 237990-Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction? Interested contractors may provide the above information to the email addresses listed below. Information submitted must be in sufficient detail as to allow for a thorough government review of firm�s interest and capabilities. This information is due no later than 30 November 2022 at 1200 p.m. CST. Additionally, the Government is contemplating hosting an industry day for this requirement mid-January 2023.
