- SOLICITATION NOTICE Farming and Irrigation Services at Dennis Underwood Conservation Area The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Lower Colorado Basin has a requirement for farming and irrigation services at Dennis Underwood Conservation Area, Imperial County, California. The Contractor shall perform farming and irrigation services at Dennis Underwood and will provide all personnel, equipment, certificates, tools, and materials to accomplish the services to be performed. The high-level objectives of this solicitation include use of farming equipment, efficient water use (use of shared canal syste), chemical application, irrigation, site maintenance, and weed control. This requirement is restricted as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code assigned to this project is 115112, Soil Preparation, Planting and Cultivating with a corresponding small business size standard of $8.5M. This acquisition will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government contemplates award of one hybrid firm fixed price and time & materials Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a 5-year term ordering period. The Government intends to make one (1) IDIQ award under this solicitation, but reserves the right to none at all. The solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation will be available only through Contract Opportunities at www.SAM.gov). All proposals, and other documents required for the proposal submittal, including amendments to the proposal, shall be submitted electronically. All dates in this announcement are estimated and are subject to change. No other information will be available before the solicitation is posted.
