Kettles VA Medical Center, 2215 Fuller Rd, Ann Arbor MI 48105 is seeking to purchase 7 HD Ultra-light Uro Cameras. All interested companies shall provide quotation(s) for the following brand name ONLY: Supplies The OR is requesting 7 CH-S190-08-LB ULTRA LIGHT URO CAMERAS for the assisting with surgical procedures. The department is requesting this be purchased as soon as possible as they only have 5 cameras left for Urology procedures due to water damage in last month s flood. Without these cameras the OR will have to cancel upcoming surgical procedures. This action will be posted as a Brand Name Only for the CH-S190-08-LB ULTRA LIGHT URO CAMERAS . Olympus Americas Inc is the only manufacturer of the Ultra-Light Uro Camera. The requested Olympus HD Cameras are additions to the Olympus equipment currently in use. The Olympus brand continues to provide excellent results and its functionality has been confirmed with present Olympus Video Systems. All Urology equipment is standardized to Olympus Video Equipment. By maintaining the Olympus product line, we increase patient safety by not introducing multiple systems that function in a different manner. Other systems would require the purchase of additional adapters and configuration changes that would increase patient risk for injury.
