Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9, on behalf of the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) VA Medical Center is issuing this pre-solicitation notice for the anticipated issuance of solicitation number 36C24922R0092. This solicitation is a Request For Proposals for Medical Transplant Lodging Service at the Nashville VA Medical Center. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for solicitation number 36C24922R0092 will be 721110. NAICS 721110 s size standard is $35 million dollars. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management (SAM), all prospective offerors must have an active SAM's registration at the time quotes are received and at the time of award. Background: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has a requirement to provide Medical Transplant Lodging Services as prescribed by policies and procedures for the government. In addition to the requirements as set forth in the solicitation notice (to be issued), the proposed contractor must also be determined responsible in accordance with FAR Part 9. The Contracting Officer will determine responsibility prior to award any award being made. Scope of Work: Contractor shall provide 450 fully furnished hotel or motel suites/kitchenettes per week. The following is the daily room estimate, Sunday 90 rooms, Monday 85 rooms, Tuesday 75 rooms, Wednesday 65 rooms, Thursday 45 rooms, Friday 45 rooms, Saturday 45 rooms. The lodging facility must block off this number of rooms per day per week. The fully furnished hotel/motel suites/kitchenettes will include Contractor provided utilities and other specified services. The hotel/motel suites/kitchenettes shall comply with all city, county and state building codes and ordinances applicable to the ownership and operation of the building in which the rooms are located. Rooms shall comply with the applicable NFPA 101, 2000, Chapter 29. The solicitation will be posted to SAM on or about November 21, 2022. Proposals will be evaluated utilizing the Best Value, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) process as defined within Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.101-2.
