Description

Synopsis of United States Military Academy (USMA) Explosive and Narcotics detection The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Contracting Office, West Point, NY on behalf of the United States Military Academy (USMA), West Point, NY intends to issue a solicitation under solicitation number W911SD-23-R-0014 on or about 1 December 2022 for a requirement for Explosive and Narcotics detection which will be a Base plus 4 years- contract.� A need is anticipated to provide Explosive and Narcotics Detection services to the United States Army Garrison (USAG), West Point, including the Visitor Control Center, Camps Buckner and Natural Bridge on a scheduled basis, health and welfare of barracks across post, for special events and for emergency response. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, personnel, materials, equipment, and supplies. The contractor shall also plan, schedule, and coordinate effective performance of these services for a base plus four-year contract. Five-year contract in total. The contractor shall provide two to eight (2-8) trained and certified Explosives Working Dog (EWDT) Teams and two to eight (2-8) Narcotics Working Dog Teams (NWDT) (IAW AR 190-12 and DA PAM 190-12) to the USAG West Point This requirement will be a 100% small business set aside under NAICS code 561612-Security Guards & Patrol Services. The small business size determination will be $25.5 MIL. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered as a Small Business under the appropriate NAICS code in the System for Award Management (SAM). Quoters are reminded to carefully review solicitation documents once issued as criteria as stated in the solicitation shall govern. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on the Internet at: https://sam.gov . It is the Quoters responsibility to check the Internet address provided as necessary for any posted changes to this solicitation and all amendments.
