- Description
- This notice is for a Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) in support of the Emergency and Operational Support Branch of the Construction Engineering Research Laboratory at the Engineering Research and Development Center.�The ERDC-CERL supports the full R&D lifecycle from basic research through Army implementation and subsequent support to ensure effective adoption and utilization of products arising from R&D investments. The Emergency & Operational Support Branch of the ERDC-CERL focuses on operational science and engineering to integrate solutions for all phases of contingency operations and emergency response. Efforts concentrate on the tools, processes, and technologies associated with planning, design, construction, operations, maintenance, and management for deployed Army Engineers (and other services). Research is also conducted in the areas of advanced power solutions, methodologies, and materials; operational energy and water contingency designs for extreme/austere environments; hybrid power solutions; advanced metering and monitoring systems; alternative energy materials; grey water reuse systems; advanced water production and recycling systems. Solutions for the general areas of interest will be accepted on an open continuous basis beginning 8 November 2022 and ending at 1700CST 7 Novemeber 2023, or as otherwise specified on an individual program requirement.�
