Description

THE US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS, ENGINEER RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CENTER (ERDC) has a requirement to provide SAIM Journals in support of the ERDC Information Technology Laboratory Branch. ERDC intends to issue a sole source firm fixed price contract to Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), 3600 University City Science CTR, Philadelphia, PA 19104, in accordance with FAR Part 13.� The information Technology Laboratory (ITL) branch currently accomplishes civil and military writing and publishing missions.� The products will satisfy the ITL requirements by extending the capabilities of the writing and publishing missions.� SIAM is the sole publisher for the required journals.� The award will be issued in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b).� The NAICS code for this requirement is 513120 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. This notice of intent is for information purpose only.� This is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals.� A solicitation will not be issued; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.� The information submitted must be provided in sufficient detail to demonstrate the vendor�s ability to fulfill requirements which are the same or similar to this requirement and references of each. Information received will be considered solely for the determining wither to conduct a competitive procurement.� A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to the notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Oral communications are not acceptable in response the notice.� Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the Government to Ronalda.burton@usace.army.mil.� Responses must be received no later that 2:00 p.m. CST on 14 November 2022.
