Description

Amendment 0001 to the SIR is issued to update the Statement of Work and incorporate the Question and Answer Document. The proposal due date is extended to November 15, 2022, by 5:00pm ET�and the Period of Performance start date is estimated to be November 21,2022. The Federal Aviation Administration is issuing this Solicitation (SIR) for Rack and Pinion Elevator Maintenance for the San Francisco Airport Surface Detection Equipment (SFO ASDE), located at the San Francisco International Airport, San Francisco, California. The requirement is to be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work included as attachment 1 in Section J of the Solicitation. This acquisition is for full and open competition and will be awarded as a Firm-fixed Price Contract. The solicitation is applicable for NAICS code 238290. The schedule for site visits are as follows: Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 9:00 am local time, San Francisco ATCT (SFO), 250 Upper Domestic Loop, San Francisco, CA 94128-POC: Les Collins, cell 650-400- 1898, email: Les.Collins@faa.gov. Please email the names of those attending, the name of the company they are representing, and the site visit locations they will be attending no later than Tuesday, November 1, 2022 by 12:00 noon Eastern Time. Each company will be limited to two (2) total attendees and should complete the attached COVID-19 Wellness Self Check prior to arriving at the FAA Facility. Please document all your questions while at the site visit and submit them to Anna F. Glover (anna.f.glover@faa.gov) via email by the date and time as directed below. Questions will not be answered during the site visit. Questions or comments applicable to this SIR must be submitted in written form via email to Anna F. Glover, Contract Specialist, at anna.f.glover@faa.gov no later than 12:00 pm Eastern Time on Monday, November 7, 2022. Questions and responses that clarify the SIR may be provided to all Offerors; if this information is provided to all Offerors, the source of the questions will not be identified. Responses to all questions and any necessary amendments made to the SIR will be made by 2:00 pm Eastern Time on Wednesday ,November 9, 2022. Please review all pages of the Solicitation before submission of proposals. Instructions for proposals are included in Section K of the SIR and Evaluation Factors for Award are located in Section M of the SIR. In accordance with AMS Clause 3.3.1-33 Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management, www.sam.gov by the established due date for receipt of offers. DURING SOLICITATION, ALL COMMUNICATIONS ARE TO BE CONDUCTED VIA EMAIL (anna.f.glover@faa.gov). NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Submissions must be received no later than 5:00 pm Eastern Time on Friday, November 11, 2022.It is the Offerors full responsibility to ensure that proposals are received as specified above. Proposals submitted after the due date and time will not be accepted. Offerors are advised that the Government will not be liable for any costs associated with the submission of inquiries to this announcement and/or responses to this Solicitation.
