Description

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INDUSTRY COMMENTS NOTICE ONLY. This posting is for planning purposes only and allows interested vendors the opportunity to review and provide feedback and comments on the DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) and twenty two (22) appendices for the requirement detailed below. The government will not provide specific responses to the comments it receives in response to this posting, however it may utilize this feedback to revise the DRAFT PWS and appendices to clarify ambiguities and address areas of concern. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. A formal Request for Proposals (RFP) is not available for review at this time. �Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is voluntary. The government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate respondents for any costs incurred developing and providing said information. The government will consider all statements/opinions given, however official questions in response to this posting will not be entertained once the RFP is posted. �The applicable NAICS Code for this solicitation is 561210, Facilities Support Services. The Small Business Size Standard is $41,500.000. This requirement is anticipated to be solicited as a Total Small Business �Set-Aside.� The 6th Contracting Squadron is currently seeking potential Civil Engineering Services contractor sources for a firm fixed-price (FFP) contract consisting of a twelve (12) month base period and six (6) one-year option periods, plus the potential of three (3) additional incentive option years. The work will support 6 ARW, USCCENTCOM, USSOCOM, JCSE, SOCCENT, MARCENT, and 33 other tenant units located at MacDill AFB located in South Tampa, Florida.� ANTICPATED SCOPE:� The scope of this contract is to provide services and items that would normally be provided by a civil engineering squadron as necessary for the proper function and operation of MacDill AFB.� This scope encompasses requirements specifically defined in the contract, and those that may otherwise be reasonably required to facilitate execution of the intent of this contract. This includes, but is not limited to: base operations support; engineering support; management, maintenance and repair of facilities and infrastructure systems; construction management; minor construction; emergency management and response; environmental requirements and programs; explosive ordinance disposal support; fire support; real property management; material procurement and management; Civil Engineer (CE) deployment training and management; exercise support; and the fulfillment of other responsibilities that may be or may become delegated to the 6 CES.
