- The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Contracting Division, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price, 100% small business set-aside contract to procure: ITEM: DRUM, SHIPPING & STORAGE, QTY: 550, UI: DR NSN: 9B 8110-LL-L95-0083 ORDERING DATA: - MATERIAL: STEEL - STYLE: OPEN HEAD, REMOVABLE TOP WITH NO MORE THAN (2) HOLES OF SUITABLE SIZE (1) �� & (1) 2� (RIEKE PLUG AND FLANGE) BUNG TYPE HOLES IN TOP OF DRUM LID. THREADED PLUGS MUST HAVE SUFFICIENT LENGTH OF THREADS TO ENGAGE AT LEAST (4) THREADS WHEN SECURELY TIGHTENED WITH GASKET IN PLACE. - VOLUMNE: 55 GALLON - THICKNESS (TP/BD/BT): 1.5/1.2/1.2 MM (TP=16 GAUGE, BD/BT= 18 GAUGE) TP = TOP, BD = BODY, BT = BOTTOM. - UN SOLID: 1A2/X400/S (YEAR) - UN LIQUID: 1A2/Y1.5/150 (YEAR) - CLOSURE: BOLT RING. The solicitation number is SPMYM1-23-Q-0004 and it is expected to be posted on or around 9 NOVEMBER 2022. Quotes will be due by 5:00 PM EST on 21 NOVEMBER 2022 and may be emailed to the attention of LaKeisha Violenusellis to lakeisha.violenusellis@dla.mil.
