- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)/National Environmental Satellite Data and Information Service intends to issue a sole source contract to Websedge Limited, under authority FAR 13.106-1(b). NOAA intends to award a contract to feature the Other Transaction Authority (OTA) collaboration between NESDIS and Google Research in their next film series to be premiered at the AGU Fall Meeting in December 2022.� The value to NESDIS: advertise�the work being done in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) space to increase the value of our space/satellite assets, through AI-based data assimilation and digital twin technology; Demonstrate the potential to maximize information content harnessed from an ever-growing satellite observing system which cannot be gained through traditional methods, and subsequent impact on increasing environmental�analysis quality and numerical weather prediction�forecast�impact, for example. The purchase is for following commercial item for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP): Inclusion in any social media activities carried out by AGU TV for the conference; Government use of any rushes / B-Roll (including unused footage) for Government�s own purposes via a royalty-free, indefinite license; Delivery of all assets including footage from the shoot, a high-quality master digital file, plus a file in a format suitable to your marketing needs; Create a 5-minute film shot in high definition 16:9 widescreen ratio; Supply the finished edited film in one of the following formats that includes but is not limited to - mp4, .mov, .fov; Supply master copies of the final edited film and all the raw material from the shoot on an electronic hard drive; Provide editorial oversight over the content of the film; Reserve broadcast rights of any footage until approval by the Government of the final proof of the film; Provide Pre-production consultation to discuss the details and messages of the film, potential interviewees, visuals, case study material, filming locations and dates for the filming to take place; Provide a filming schedule for the Government to approve; Produce a first edit of the film allowing the Government to view the file on a secure location online and dictate any changes required for the film; Implement any changes and continue the process until Government approval the final proof of the film; Final approval of film before broadcast; Exhibit the final edit of the film to the official AGU TV playlist on the AGU virtual conference program platform. WebsEdge will produce an informative film segment that highlights NESDIS partnerships under the OTA and document the achievements to date and future potential of NESDIS efforts related to the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to increase the value of our space/satellite assets through AI-based data assimilation. The media created may lead to new partnerships to further advance AI technology in NESDIS. This is not a request for competitive proposals as this is a sole source requirement.
