Description

The Purpose of Amendment 0001 is to Post the following Questions and Answers that were received: 1.� What other document would you like submitted in the proposal? Answer: The Combined Synopsis/Solicitation covers the documents that need to be submitted.� Each offeror is required to read the solicitation and submit what is being asked for. 2.� What is the sq ft�of the service area that needs to be cleaned? Answer: It is approximately 4380 square feet in total.� There�s furniture occupying much of the space for the offices. 3.� What is the square ft of the cleaning areas? Answer: It is approximately 4380 square feet in total.� There�s furniture occupying much of the space for the offices. 4.� How many windows are in total? Answer: None,� the windows are not required to be cleaned for the contract. 5.� Who is the current contractor? Answer: Nobody, this is a new contract. 6.� �How much is the current price of monthly services? Answer: There�s no contract pricing. This will be a new contract. 7.� �How many cleaners are cleaning the facility? Answer: Nobody, this is a new contract. 8.� Please provide us total square feet of cleaning areas and carpet areas. Answer: It is approximately 4380 square feet in total.� There�s furniture occupying much of the space for the offices. 9.� �Please provide us current contact dollar values. Answer: There�s no contract pricing. This will be a new contract. 10.� Do we clean only glass doors, windows are not included in the contract? Answer:� Yes, only clean glass doors.� Windows are not included in the contract. 11.� I have a question. How many square feet in total is this solicitation for? Answer: It is approximately 4380 square feet in total.� There�s furniture occupying much of the space for the offices. 12.� Is it possible to schedule a site visit for another day maybe a Tuesday or Thursday in order to get my guys out there and get eyes on the property? Answer: No, there was only one scheduled site visit. 13.� Can you please help us with the incumbent details with PO and total value of the current contract? Answer: There�s no contract pricing. This will be a new contract. 14.� Since tomorrow there is a site visit our sub is unable to attend. Is there any alternate site visit Answer: No, there was only one scheduled site visit. 15.� Please provide the square footage ? And any pictures, map of the building to be serviced? Answer: It is approximately 4380 square feet in total.� There�s furniture occupying much of the space for the offices. See the Attachment for sample pictures of some of the office space. See the attachment for floor plan of the office space. 16.� Is there a standard form 1449 available for this solicitation? Answer: No there�s no SF 1449 attached to this solicitation.� This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for�commercial products�or�commercial services�prepared in accordance with the format in FAR�subpart�12.6�� When using the combined synopsis/solicitation�procedures, the�SF1449�is not used for issuing the�solicitation.� The Awardee will be issued a SF 1449 at the time of Award. 17.� Prior to the site�visit, will a sitemap of the facility be provided? Answer: There was no sitemap issued prior to the site visit date.� See the attached floor plan of the office space. 18.� Is it permissible�to work overnight hours?� Answer:� Yes, night hours are permissible. Contractor will need to notify USDA�s technical representative of the hours scheduled to work.� Contractor will lock the office when complete, and ensure the building is secure at all times as the federal agency may not be occupying at the time of cleaning services. 19.� During the site visit, is it allowed to take pictures of the facility? This helps my company to determine the level of effort needed to clean the office. Answer: Pictures were allowed at the site visit.� See the Attachment for sample pictures of some of the office space. 20.� Is there an incumbent�? Can you kindly provide the current contract price? Answer: There�s no contract pricing. This will be a new contract. 21.� The documents attached to the solicitation do not have an area for the offeror to provide their signature to solidify�their bid? Will there be an SF 1449 form attached or is this a micro purchase agreement? Answer: There�s no SF 1449 attached to this solicitation.� This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for�commercial products�or�commercial services�prepared in accordance with the format in FAR�subpart�12.6�� When using the combined synopsis/solicitation�procedures, the�SF1449�is not used for issuing the�solicitation.� The Awardee will be issued a SF 1449 at the time of Award. The closing date for Quote submission remains the same: November 15, 2022, at 9:00am EST. ALL OTHER TERMS OF THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS SOLICITATION 12305B23Q0005 FOR USDA JANITORIAL SERVICES REMAIN UNCHANGED
