Description
This is a sources sought notice for market research only to determine the availability of firms to perform the services described below.� No award will be made from this sources sought notice.� No solicitation or scope of work is available at this time. The Pittsburgh District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is surveying the market to find 8(a) small business concerns that have experience testing and repairing transformers.� There is a potential requirement by the Government to conduct oil and electrical testing and make repairs, if necessary, to up to 23 Existing Pad Mounted Type 3� Power Transformers, so that the transformers are ready for future use.� The location of the transformers is in Puerto Rico and the testing would need to take place there.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement would be 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors with a size standard of $16,500,000 in average annual receipts per 13 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) � 121.104.� The Government is currently only looking for capability statements from 8(a) small business concerns.� Interested 8(a) small business concerns should provide examples of comparable work performed within the last five years that demonstrates experience in testing and repairing transformers.� The examples should include a brief description of the project(s), customer name(s), timeliness of performance, customer satisfaction, and dollar value of the projects. Please note that this is a market survey for informational purposes only and is not a Request for Proposals (RFP).� There is no�solicitation document available and no�contract will be awarded based on this announcement.� Further, no reimbursement will be made for costs associated with responding to this announcement.� All responses must be submitted to Contracting Officer, Zachary Garst at zachary.a.garst@usace.army.mil by the deadline in this notice.� Thank you for your interest.
