- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. THIS SOLICITATION IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. The contract will be firm-fixed price purchase order. This requirement will be competed and awarded under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation is 100% Small Business set-aside acquisition utilizing NAICS code 624190, Other Individual and Family Services (e.g. Referral services for personal and social problems) with a size standard of $14,000,000. Description of the Service: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform a wide range of short-term diagnostic assessment, intervention, counseling and referral services for various issues affecting employee mental and emotional wellbeing, which may adversely impact the employee's job performance not limited to work-related difficulties such as alcohol and other substance abuse, stress, grief, depression, anxiety, marital and family problems, eating disorders, financial/credit problems and legal concerns, as defined in this PWS. Long-term treatment and rehabilitation are not within the scope of this contract. The Period of Performance shall be one Base Year starting on/or about 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024 and four (4) 12-month option years. The USP&FO for Maine intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) under W50S83-23-Q-0001 � EAP Services. The basis of award and evaluation criteria will be published within the RFQ. The solicitation should be published once all the reviews have been completed, which should be on or about Wednesday, 30 November 2022 The information will be made available to the public solely distrusted through the General Services Administration�s, System for Award Management (SAM)� https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/�� Hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available.� The web-site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including the solicitation and solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely though this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All inquiries must be in writing, preferred method is via email to the person(s) specified in the solicitation. All answers will be provided in writing via posting to the web. This announcement serves as the advance notice for this requirement.
