Description

Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value) The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center � Pacific requires top end overhaul of two Caterpillar SSDGs installed aboard NOAA Ship Reuben Lasker. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number NM-AN2120-23-00147-1 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-08. (iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance; the small business size standard is $11M. (v) Line items are as follows: CLIN 1:� Top End Overhaul of Ship Service Diesel Generator Number 1: � Make: Caterpillar � Model: 3512c � Serial Number: E3Y00210. CLIN 2:� Top End Overhaul of Ship Service Diesel Generator Number 4: ����������� � Make: Caterpillar ����������� � Model: C32 ����������� � Serial Number RNX00414 (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired:� The vendor is to provide the items in CLINs 1 and 2 per the attached statement of work.
