This is a sources sought announcement in support of market research to determine the feasibility of a competitive acquisition, and to identify potential sources that can provide the following item: NOMENCLATURE: WHEEL, LANDING GEAR NSN: 1630-01-290-5740 P/N: 7-311221000 QUANTITY: 740 The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413 and the size standard is 1250 employees. The WHEEL, LANDING GEAR is Not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). The rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional source(s) are not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed, or otherwise obtained. �It is uneconomical to reverse engineer this part.�Currently the known approved sources for this item is MEGGITT AIRCRAFT BRAKING SYSTEMS CORPORATION (CAGE CODE 0B9R9) THE BOING COMPANY (CAGE CODE 8V613), PARKER HANNIFIN CORPORATION (CAGE CODE 33269), and NATIONAL MACHINE COMPANY (CAGE CODE 6l817). SUBMISSION DETAILS: Interested businesses should email a statement demonstrating its intention to submit a Source Approval Request to provide the products/systems listed in this Technical Description. No phone or email solicitations with regards to the status of the RFP will be accepted prior to its release. Your response to this Sources Sought, including any capabilities statement, shall be electronically submitted to the Contract Specialist, Matthew Redman in either Microsoft Word or Portable Document Format (PDF), via email Matthew.P.Redman.civ@army.mil no later than the provided response date as referenced on https://sam.gov and reference this synopsis number in the subject line of the e-mail and on all enclosed documents.
