- Description
- NAICS Code: 334614, Software and Other Prerecorded Compact Disc, Tape, and Record Reproducing This is a Request for Information (RFI) for planning purposes only. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for the information solicited. No solicitation document exists or is guaranteed to be issued as a result of this RFI. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. The Defense Biological Product Assurance Office (DBPAO) mission is to employ best practices in providing the Department of Defense and its partners with a comprehensive collection of biological products that are thoroughly characterized, of the highest quality, adaptable, and traceable from source application. The Government is seeking information from qualified companies with capabilities to support the DBPAO in their requirements for the continued support for External Certification Authority (ECA) certificates and tokens to access the Department of Defense (DOD) network. The DBPAO has its own Amazon-like e-commerce site. DBPAO has a requirement for an External Certification Authority (ECA) Medium Token Identity / Encryption Certificate Pair with a 3-Year Validity Period and an ActivIdentity Cryptographic Universal Serial Bus (USB) Token to enable contracted performers of DBPAOs Federal Government customers to be able to access DBPAOs online ordering system which resides on DoD network. OSCAR is the Ordering System for Critical Assays and Reagents. Customers can place orders, track status, and monitor ordering history 24 hours a day. The DoD network requires either DoD-issued Common Access Card (CAC), Federally issued Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card, or ECA certificate as listed above. Since these performers are unable to obtain CAC and/or PIV cards through their contractual relationship with the government, the only way they can access the online ordering system in order to perform their duties is through ECA authentication. Any certificates other than the ones identified by DISA will not provide the access to the DoD network. Respondents should supply the Government with a description of their ability to provide DISA approved ECA certificates. The Government will retain comments and information received in response to the RFI. Proprietary information should be identified as Company Proprietary. Do not use Government Security classification markings. All written responses must be received by November 25, 2022. The Government Contracting Officer is Ms. Susan Ruzicka and the Contracting Specialist is Ms Ursela Jackson. Responses should be sent by e-mail to: ursela.c.jackson.civ@army.mil or by regular mail to: Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground/Edgewood Division, Attn: Ms. Ursela C. Jackson, 110 Thomas Johnson Drive, Suite 240, Frederick, Maryland 21702. Material that is advertisement only in nature is not desired.
