- FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION MARKET SURVEY CAPABILITY ASSESSMENT �FOR THE OFFICE OF SECURITY AND HAZARDOUS MATERIALS SAFETY (ASH) �AVIATION INSURANCE CLAIMS (AIC) PROGRAM The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is responsible for providing hull, comprehensive, and liability insurance.� The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of capabilities from experienced aviation insurance claims settlement professionals and insurance advisors capable of providing the services described in the Statement of Work attached and to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to perform an open competition or set-aside the procurement all or in part among Small Businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, eligible Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses that are certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program, Women-Owned, and HUBZone small businesses. In making the above determination, the FAA requests a statement from interested vendors demonstrating their capability/strategy/methodology of performance as to the following:� (1) �Leading and coordinating a complex response to a catastrophic aircraft accident and settle claims, to include assisting air carriers with providing medical care to injured passengers and providing environmental engineering and restoration, aircraft accident investigation and loss adjusting, property damage assessment, aircraft salvage and wreckage preservation, funeral and remains coordination, security and legal services;� (2) Responding to an aircraft accident domestically and/or anywhere in the world within 24 hours, including the capability to respond to multiple aircraft accidents at one-time; and (3) Capability to advance funds (pending reimbursement) of at least $100M in costs associated with the handling of a catastrophic aircraft accident. � The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 524291, �Claims Adjusting�, with a size standard of $22.0 Million. �� Respondents are encouraged to review the statement of work and provide comments. � Your response demonstrating your strategy/capability/methodology of performance must not exceed 10 pages. Respondents must use font size Times New Roman 11 with your submittal. �All responses to this market survey must be received by December 16, 2022. � Respondents must provide their strategy for accomplishing this work, including the percentage of work that will be done by eligible small, service-disabled veteran-owned and 8(a) certified businesses.
