THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Strategic Acquisition Center (SAC) is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to identify qualified contractors with the capability and the resources to meet the VA s Office of Information Technology (OIT), IT Operations and Services, Quantico Information Technology Center (QITC) requirement for AiPhone System Maintenance. Please see the attached Statement of Work (SOW) for more information. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from all business sizes capable of providing the supplies outlined in this document. The responses to this Sources Sought will help in possible future acquisition strategy and assist in determining whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses. Furthermore, the responses obtained will assist the VA with ensuring any final requirement, if any, are clearly defined to mitigate potential cost, schedule, and performance risk. The Government believes industry feedback is important and is receptive to comments and lessons learned from industry partners highlighting potential technical problem areas associated with this effort. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 561621, Security Systems Services (except locksmiths). The Product Service Code is J063, Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment Alarm, Signal, and Security Detection Systems. If your organization has the potential capability to provide the service(s), please provide the following information: 1) Organization Name and Address, Point of Contact (POC) name, Email Address, Website Address, Telephone Number, Data Universal Number System (DUNS) Number, Unique Entity ID (UEI) Number, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Existing GSA Schedule or Government Wide Contract, Business size and type of ownership for the organization, Recommended NAICS Code(s) Submissions for this sources sought shall be submitted by email to Michael.Stevens5@va.gov no later than November 28, 2022, 10:00am EST. This Sources Sought Notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. The Government will treat any information received as proprietary and will not share such information with other companies. Any organization responding to this Sources Sought Notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. The Government may or may not issue a solicitation as a result of this announcement. There is no solicitation available at this time.
