Description: The objective of this requirement is to provide NIST with access to an independent consultant to conduct a survey of NIST�s safety culture of NIST employees to provide a report detailing the survey�s findings, benchmarks of the survey�s findings against other similar organizations�, recommendations for improvement, and noteworthy practices; and to assist NIST in identifying corrective actions and program-improvement initiatives to improve safety at NIST.�The Department of Commerce and NIST is�requiring this study after an accident which resulted in a fatality on the NIST Gaithersburg campus.
