Description

Special Notice of Intent to Sole Source: The MCIEast Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533, hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Websedge Limited (CAGE KD0S0) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for the production, broadcast and distribution of a 5 minute video and a 1 minute video at the American Society for Engineering Education Annual Conference in 2023. The applicable NAICS for this requirement is 512110 per the Performance Work Statement. Market research has revealed this contractor is the only source capable of providing the required service. Therefore, the government intends to procure these services on a sole source basis from Websedge Limited, the authorized partner of American Society for Engineering Education. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within five (5) business days after the date of the publication of this notice will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
