Description

The�U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Philadelphia District (NAP), Philadelphia, PA intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to WILLARD MARINE, INC. (CAGE Code: 58367), a small business, to recertify the Dredge McFarland Rescue Boat in�in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard requirements. The rescue boat must be inspected every year as part of the annual inspections necessary for the renewal of the McFarland's Certificate of Inspection. Work of this nature has to be performed by a factory-approved contractor as per the U.S. Coast Guard.� This sole source award is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 336611 and the size standard is�$1,250.00. The purpose of this requirement is to�to inspect and recertify the rescue boat for continued use on the Dredge McFARLAND. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used a s part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETETIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for the recertification of the Drege McFarland Rescue Boat. The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is available.� The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, Philadelphia, PA intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to WILLARD MARINE, INC. (CAGE Code: 58367).
