Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement to provide a workforce scheduling system with the ability to manage the schedules of 20,000 employees with expansion capability to�40,000. This system will be implemented across multiple workforces, including but not limited to FAA Air Traffic Organizations� Air Traffic Controller and Air Traffic Technician workforces, and the Air Traffic Academy. The FAA currently uses a workforce scheduling system that is developed and maintained by the current contractor. The basis of the system is an underlying COTS workforce planning software tool.� Respondents are encouraged to review the attached DRAFT SIR 693KA9-23-00002 and attachments and submit comments/questions no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Time on Friday, January 9, 2023.� FAA responses to vendor comments and questions will be posted. All questions must be submitted via email to Francisco A. Felix, francisco.felix@faa.gov and the subject line must state ""Draft SIR Response, 693KA9-23-R-00002"". Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. �
