- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This is a notice of intent to Sole Source. This is not a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation will be made available. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulations 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Orlando VA Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, Florida, 32827, intends to award a Firm-fixed-price, sole source contract for one (1) Philips 3.0T MRI HeadNeck Coil Replacement for Orlando VA Healthcare Lake Nona, Radiology Department, to Philips North America LLC, 222 Jacobs St 3RD FL, Cambridge, MA 02141 United States. This procurement is for a Sole Source Justification in accordance with FAR 13.501(a), were acquisition conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6, but still require a justification using the format of FAR 6.303-2. The NAICS code for this procurement is 334510 and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is 1,250 employees. The current FAC is 2022-08 dated 10/28/2022 according to FAR 13.106-1(b) procedures accordance with procedures in FAR 13.106-1(b) soliciting from a single source. If vendors believe they have the technical capability to meet this specific need, submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government s requirement. Submit your response to this notice no later than 12/09/2022, 4:00 PM EST to this procurement office to Contracting Specialist Edwin R. Correa, Edwin.correa1@va.gov. Any responses received will be considered for the purposes of determining sources for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. Any information submitted in response to this notice of intent is strictly voluntary. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
