REPAIR/REPLACE ELEVATORS AT RAYMOND G. MURPHY VETERAN AFFAIRS (VA) MEDICAL CENTER, ALBUQUERQUE DISTRICT, U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS, BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM The proposed procurement is an Unrestricted Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Request or Proposal (RFP), and thus open to large and small businesses. NAICS is 238290, with a size standard of $16,500,000.00. The magnitude of construction for this project will be between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. Offerors attention is directed to Section 00 21 00 in the Solicitation for information regarding the tour of the site. Plans will be issued on or about 22 December 2022, with proposals due on or about 30 January 2023. Offerors are advised that this requirement may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, or final award process. THE PROJECT consists of construction services to modernize 10 passenger and service elevators and 1 dumbwaiter for the VA at their NM Healthcare System campus located in Albuquerque, NM. The scope of work would consist of demolition and removal of old equipment and installation of new equipment in accordance with plans and specifications, structural, mechanical, electrical, architectural, and life safety considerations. The effort will require work in the existing elevators, machinery spaces, elevator cabs, hoist-ways, consideration of fire rating of areas and assemblies, life safety analysis, ventilation, and comprehensive phasing of work to execute the project in an occupied VA Medical Center. � THE PROJECT will be advertised as a Request for Proposal. Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation package. Evaluation by the Government will result in selection of a firm that represents the best value to the Government. The proposed procurement will result in a firm-fixed price contract. OFFERORS MUST BE REGISTERED with System for Award Management (SAM), in order to receive a Government Contract award. To register, the SAM Internet address is: https://sam.gov/content/home. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only.� Notification of amendments shall be made via Internet only, as well. It is therefore the contractors� responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation.
