THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE.   The NCO 12, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, 115 S. 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53214, is performing market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of qualified: (1) Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB); (2) Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB); or (3) Small or emerging small business firms, or (4) Other Than Small business firms, to provide a Brand Name or Equal VLS360DT40 VersaLASER Platform Series 24 X 12 to the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital Hines, IL 60141-5000.   General Requirements: Salient Characteristics: (Brand Name or Equal) Brand Name: VLS3.60DT40 VersaLASER Platform Series 24 X 12 Must be within the range of 34Lx14W (in.) Must be Commercial Grade Must be electric Laser Engraving & Cutting: 24""x12""x4"" 40-watt air assist with cone (no compressor) 2.0"" lens minimum of 24 X 12 LASER Platform Must include a LENS KIT At the minimum of ULR-40, 10.6 Laser Cartridge Must include AIR ASSIST Must have a downdraft cutting Table Must have feature of air assist Must have at least one year Manufacturer s Warranty: and two years factory warranty on laser tube/source. Onsite training Conduct an installation checklist Packing crate/boxing for shipping Training: To be required/provided by vendor to go over differences between the current and requested laser engraver and the newer software to operate the equipment. The Manual Skills Department will require training for six individuals including the Manual Skills Supervisory Blind Rehabilitation Specialist. All interested firms who can meet the requirements stated above should respond, in writing, INCLUDING ALL THE FOLLOWING: Company name. Address. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract.
