Description

CHANGE IN GOVERNMENT CONTRACTING STRATEGY FOR THIS PROCUREMENT FROM SOLE SOURCE TO COMPETITIVE AS OF 12/8/2022. A NEW POSTING WILL BE MADE TO SAM.GOV INVITING CONTRACTORS TO RESPOND WITH QUOTES, IF VIABLE. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS IS NO LONGER A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT AND THAT THE NEW RFQ WILL BE POSTED IMMINENTLY. Commander of Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) has a requirement to procure annual maintenace services for 5-Axis Machining Centers at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) via commercial procurement procedures. Solicitation N6852022R0051 is issued as a combined synopsis/sole source solicitation pursuant to FAR Subpart 12.603. The government obtained approval to solicit, negotiate and award a contract on a sole source basis with�Precision Machine Services, LLC under the authority of FAR subpart 12.6 and FAR subpart 13.5 THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.�
