- This solicitation is to announce that the Warner Robins Air Force Sustainment Center (WR-AFSC), Robins AFB, GA, intends to solicit Transicoil, LLC. CAGE Code: 65907 9 IRON BRIDGE DR, COLLEGEVILLE, PA 19426-2042. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).� The contract is anticipated to be awarded as a Requirements type contract with a basic plus 4 one-year ordering years to repair items on the ARC-164 Liquid Crystal Display Modules on Multiple Aircraft. A solicitation will be issued on or about 11 November 2022.� This requirement is for the sustainment of repairs related to the ARC-164 displays, produced by Transicoil LLC are sold commercially, but the NSN for which the Air Force has a repair requirement possesses minor modifications to the commercial version which make it unique to the military. These specific displays are designed to operate with the use of night vision goggles (NVGs) by the use of select crystal dye components. Effective 1 October 2022, NAICS 811213, Communication Equipment Repair and Maintenance, is no longer valid and has been replaced with NAICS 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The period of performance for the contract will be one-year basic follow by four (one) year ordering periods, for a total Period of Performance of 5 years. This synopsis is NOT to be considered as a commitment by the Government or as a Request for Proposals.� Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting a Statement of Capabilities to Mr. Michael Turk at michael.turk.6@us.af.mil.� A determination by the Government whether or not to complete the contract based upon assessment of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.� In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)ii, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.� It is suggested that small business firms or other interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this described procurement should contact the firm listed. An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors not sufficiently addressed by the Contracting Officer.� The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the Contracting Officer, but communicated contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel.� When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.� The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation or selection process, interested parties are invited to call the Warner Robins ALC Ombudsman, Dr. Thomas Eller, WR-ALC/PKC, at (478)608-0852.� DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION/INFORMATION REQUEST.
