- THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS ISSUED SOLELY FOR INFORMATIONAL AND PLANNING PURPOSES AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION. No formal solicitation documents exist at this present time. Responses to this Sources Sought notice will be utilized by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be published via SAM.gov | Contract Opportunities. PURPOSE This notice constitutes market research for a cloud backup solution provided in the form of Software as a Service (SaaS) or Backup as a Service (BaaS).� The platform must be FedRAMP certified, or in the process of FedRAMP review with the expected certification by end of FY23.� The platform must be cloud-native and require no on-premise hardware and/or software.� The system must be able to tier data to cloud providers such as FedRAMP Azure, FedRAMP AWS, Google, or any NFS target, S3 target, or tape, while maintaining a searchable index for all data within the cluster.� � AGENCY BACKGROUND The American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) migrated applications and data to Microsoft 365 E5 and Microsoft Azure Commercial, and is seeking a cloud-native backup-as-a-service (BaaS) solution that meets the following salient characteristics: ABMC Microsoft 365 and Azure Data and User Counts a.���������� Microsoft 365 E5: 400 Licenses � � �1.� OneDrive: 10Tb � � �2.� SharePoint: 15Tb � � �3.� Teams: 5Tb � � �4.� Exchange Online: 5Tb � � � � � b.� �Microsoft Azure: 5Tb � � � � � c.� Cool Storage Data (Optional): Approximately 50Tb REQUIREMENTS The system should: Allow retrieval at a file level and should be efficient to pull only unique blocks from the cloud.� The system should allow the contents (e.g., audio, video, images, etc.) Of cloud archive to be browsed without need of retrieving data from the cloud.� Support restore from cloud even if the entire on-prem system is completely unavailable.� Support converting and spinning up backed-up Virtual Machines into AWS and Azure as native cloud instances.� Be able to manage the lifecycle and retention of converted images stored in the cloud.� The data archived to the cloud should be deduplicated at source before being sent to the cloud to preserve bandwidth and save on cloud capacity costs.� Support archiving of snapshots and backups to public clouds such as GCP, AWS and Azure, etc.� Support agentless NoSQL backups.� Be able to prioritize recovery and instant access io ahead of backup activities.�� The platform and GUI must support immutable backups that even the superuser cannot delete.� The solution provides integrated continuous data protection (CDP) ensuring point-in-time recovery for virtual machines.� The solution supports integrated site continuity ensuring multi-site, near zero recovery time objective (rto).� The solution shall support instant access to data backed up from NAS devices. REQUESTED INFORMATION. Provide any previous contract award information for past similar projects. Provide hourly rates of staff typically employed in past similar projects. Responses must be received no later than January 09, 2023 by 1300 EDT.
