Ft. (ABOA): 3,045 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 3,045 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): 7 Parking Spaces (Surface): 2 Parking Spaces (Structured): 5 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 7 Full Term: 10 years Firm Term: 3 years Option Term: N/A Additional Requirements: � Office space must be above ground floor or above street level; � Office space must not be located on the same floor with other DHS agencies; � Building must have a 24-hour security system; � Personnel must have 24-hour unrestricted access to the office space and parking; � Building must have a loading dock and service elevator with key override; 09/2020 � Personnel must have access to loading dock and service elevator; � Building must provide a non-public pedestrian entrance; � Building must not have the following groups or organizations: Public defenders; Probation or parole agencies; Public aid or government services offices (i.e. motor vehicle agency, social services agencies, immigration applicant services center, etc.); that allow for unscheduled appointments and offer public waiting areas; Medical clinics or emergency room facilities; that have regular walk-in traffic and public congregation; News media to include print, radio, or television; Foreign national governments; Foreign owned companies. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100-year flood plain. Entities are advised to familiarize themselves with the telecommunications prohibitions outlined under Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). ). The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in Laredo, TX, that will be expiring. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government�s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
