Description

Sources Sought Notice The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) Science & Technology�s Agricultural Quarantine Inspection (AQI) laboratory in Miami, FL intends to issue a base plus two option periods (36 months total) contract for quarterly HVAC control system preventative maintenance inspections and monthly monitoring service. Interested vendors must be able to provide factory-authorized technicians, certified by ABB/Delta Controls and experienced with OSHA and HVAC Safety Standards in order to provide services to currently installed equipment. See attachment for additional details. CAPABILITIES: Please provide a description of your company�s capability to fulfill and adhere to the above. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310. This is not a request for proposals, but instead market research to determine interested vendors prior to issuing a solicitation.� A determination by the Government on the method of competing this requirement has not been established.� The Government will not award a contract based on this Sources Sought Notice or the information received, nor will it reimburse participants for the information they provide.� If you are an interested vendor, please provide the following information: 1) Business name and point of contact; 2) UEI number and CAGE code; and 3) Business Size. Electronic responses are required. Information provided will not be used as a part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses are due no later than 3 p.m., Central Standard Time, on Friday, December 30, 2022, to the attention of Katie Maloney, Contract Specialist, and Leah Schultz, Contracting Officer, via e-mail to katie.maloney@usda.gov and leah.h.schultz@usda.gov.
