SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Department of Veterans Affairs Strategic Acquisition Center Frederick (SAC-F) Office of Procurement, Acquisition and Logistics (OPAL) Physical Access Control System / Close Circuit Television (CCTV) Maintenance Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information & Technology (OIT), IT Operations and Services at the Philadelphia Information Technology Center (PITC), is issuing a Sources Sought Notice regarding 24/7 support, maintenance, and repairs to the existing Lenel OnGuard Physical Access Control System (PACS), and Avigilon Video Surveillance (Avigilon CCTV) systems installed at the PITC. The Contractor must manage a service request response system for Lenel OnGuard PACS and maintenance requests. The Contractor must employ maintenance personnel/technicians who are trained and certified in the use and operation of all Lenel OnGuard PACS, and Avigilon CCTV. Background: PITC strives to provide high quality, effective, and efficient Information Technology (IT) services to those responsible for providing care to Veterans throughout the United States, in an effective, timely, and compassionate manner. The VA depends on Information Management and IT systems to further meet mission goals. The PITC processes data that is considered a lifeline to Veterans and constant availability of the data is crucial. The PITC facilities department is responsible for ensuring the facility provide a safe and secure workplace for its employees. Scope of Inquiry: The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from all business sizes capable of providing the services outlined in the attached SOW. The responses to this RFI will help in possible future acquisition strategy and assist in determining whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), or all other Small Business. Furthermore, the responses obtained will assist the VA with ensuring any final requirement if any, are clearly defined to mitigate potential costs, schedule, and performance risk. The Government believes industry feedback is important and is receptive to comments and lessons learned from industry partners highlighting potential technical problem areas associated with this effort. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 561621, Security Systems Services (except locksmiths). The Product Service Code is J063, Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment Alarm, Signal, and Security Detection Systems. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. The Government will treat any information received as proprietary and will not share such information with other companies. Any organization responding to this Sources Sought Notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. The Government may or may not issue a solicitation as a result of this announcement. There is no solicitation available at this time.
