Description: Amendment 0001 Extend the solicitation for full and open competition as no quotes were received. Quotes are due Dec 21 2022 0800 EST All other terms and conditions remain the same. End of Amendment 0001 The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center NOAA Ship Fairweather requires repair and service to the installed Moving Vessel Profiler (MVP) equipment. (II)�� This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).� Submit written quotes on RFQ Number NM-AN2120-23-00325, NAME: Fairweather MVP Services (III)�� The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-08. (IV)�� This solicitation is being issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 336611.� The small business size standard is 1,250 Employees.� (V)�� This specification contains requirements for Service MVP unit located on Fairweather�s fantail. Restore automatic depth functions, system depth currently will only operate in manual mode. Repair inner sheave limit switch. Perform annual service Perform checks of all functions and components to verify operational condition. Provide Port Engineer with service report describing problems found, components checked, and service accomplished. General Requirements Provide all non-GFE parts, installation materials, equipment, cables, cranes, lifting straps, services, sub-contractors, labor, travel costs, disposal fees, tools, and miscellaneous related items necessary to fully complete this specification item. Perform all electrical work in accordance with Reference (2.1).� Re-use existing cable ways, penetrations and cable clamps.� Repack any disturbed MCTs and cable transits. Identify damaged or unusable components to the Port Engineer when found. (VII)�� Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance. Period of performance. 1/2/23 to 1/22/23. The R/V Fairweather will be located at NOAA�s MOC-P facility in Newport, Oregon. Verify schedule with port engineer prior to arranging a visit to vessel.
