Description

NOTICE OF THE INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE TO Redhawk Medical, 4901 Olde Towne Parkway, Marietta, GA, 30068, UNITED STATES. Response Due Date: December 22, 2022, by 10:00AM (EST) NOTICE OF THE INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS Network Contract Office 1, Procurement Office East on behalf of The Department of Veterans Affairs, West Haven VA Medical Center located at 950 Campbell Ave, West Haven, CT 06516 intends to award a firm-fixed contract with no options to Redhawk Medical to provide the lease of mobile Multiple Detector Computed Tomography Imaging (MDCT) unit to provide continuity of care during the unexpected delay of the Cat Scan Suite leak mitigation project at West Haven VAMC.�This is logical follow-on contract to extend the current lease by 6 months at West Haven VA Medical Center. The mobile CT system is currently in place at West Haven VAMC being leased through the Redhawk Company. The unit is already on site and under contract. The mobile CT service is imperative to the continued operation of West Haven VAMC�s Level 1A hospital system, both of their in-house CT systems will be out of commission during the leak mitigation project. Any gap in the CT service would have catastrophic impact on our services provided to the Emergency medicine program, the Operating Room program, and all our critical care units. This will be an extension to the current contract already in place. The proposed procurement is for products/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) for this requirement is 621512. All responsible sources that feel they should be considered qualified to provide the above-mentioned products may submit a response to this notice (by the response due date shown above) to Divianna.Mathurin@va.gov. The information provided shall include detailed (and relevant) documentation to allow the government to perform adequate market research and make a proper determination. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.
