Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), MH-60 PMA-299 (AIR � 2.3.4.2), Patuxent River, MD intends to prepare a Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) for Other Than Full and Open Competition, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), �Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements,� with Parker Hannifin Corporation. The purpose of the CJ&A is to authorize and approve the procurement of Hardware upgrade part number (P/N) 70307-23908-103 Fuel Pump on existing pumps to updated P/N 70307-23908-104 in support of MH60 Romeo aircraft. Parker Hannafin Corporation is the original sole designer and manufacturer of the upgraded part number that follows the configuration of a certain approved Engineering Change Proposal. No other firm possesses the required data and expertise on this hardware. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which will be considered by the agency. Any offer must clearly demonstrate the capability to respond to this requirement without detriment to the Upgrade of Fuel Pump P/N 70307-23-908-104 effort for the MH-60R aircraft. This notice is not a request for proposals and does not imply a promise that the Government intends to award a contract vehicle as a result. �Responses and notices shall be emailed to Ms. Lindsay Hurley at lindsay.g.hurley.civ@us.navy.mil
