Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), NAS Patuxent River, MD, intends to contract on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation � Aerospace Systems (NGAS), San Diego, CA, for activities required to support the Non-Recurring Engineering for Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) - 04603, IFC 4.2 Implementation on the Triton Unmanned Aircraft (AC). This requirement will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition� under Title 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.�� As the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the MQ-4C Triton UAS, NGAS is the only source with the requisite knowledge, experience, engineering expertise, and technical data required to meet the Government�s requirements within the program�s cost and schedule constraints.� Note: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.
