Description

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Navajo Area Office of Environmental Health and Engineering located in Window Rock, Arizona intends to negotiate a sole source award with Frontier Communications for Telecommunication services (data and voice services) for its various NAO-OEHE field offices. The North American Industry Classification System or NAICS code is 517112 with a small business size standard of 1,500 Employees. Period of Performance from January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization).� Frontier Communications has provided this services for over 10 years and continues to provide this service for NAO-OEHE Field Offices. �The contractor is familiar with Navajo Area Office of Environmental Health and Engineering�s data circuit services, its requirements and is currently providing these services to NAO-OEHE.� This notice of intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent. Any potential sources other than Frontier Communications may submit a capability statement via electronic mail by 2:00 PM MST on January 6, 2023.� Any other form of communication will not be considered. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition or proceed with a single-source award.
