- The purpose of this modification is to add the Industry Day & Virtual Site Visit Attendee List, Presentation, and include the public announcement for DoT Forecasting: https://www.transportation.gov/procurement-forecast-opportunity/procurement-forecast-opportunity-225296-2023-171� This requirement will be solicited via General Services Administration (GSA) One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS), Pool 1, Unrestricted (Full and Open). ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ This Special Notice is to provide notice of an upcoming Industry Day-Virtual Site Visit on December 02, 2022 at 3-4 PM Eastern Time. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) a is conducting an INDUSTRY DAY & VIRTUAL SITE VISIT� for the RECONNECTING COMMUNITIES INSTITUTE (RCI) to establish and implement the Department of Transportation (DoT) Build America Bureau (BAB) RCI. The FHWA Office of Acquisition and Grants Management intends to make an award to accomplish the work and any interested parties may attend and include themselves on the interested parties list. We anticipate providing a brief overview, possibly provide a Q&A, and if time allows, provide a short question and answer period. Please see attached PDF entitled ""Meeting Information - Reconnecting Communities Institute - Industry Day-Virtual Site Visit"".� OST intends to provide technical assistance for grantees and potential grantees under the Reconnecting Communities Pilot Program (RCP), created under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (PL-117-59 div. A �11509), also known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL). The mission of the Reconnecting Communities Institute is to serve as DOT�s center for learning to restore and reconnect communities that have been harmed, isolated, and cut off from opportunity by transportation infrastructure. Enrollment into the Reconnecting Communities Institute will be open to States, local and tribal governments, metropolitan planning organizations, and nonprofit organizations.�Any small disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to attend. This Special Notice is issued solely for informational, market research, and planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to any further contract actions, i.e., solicitation and/ or contract. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, quotations, or capability statements.
