- Description
- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), on behalf of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC), Milford, Connecticut requires to procure Data Sondes Units and Accessories to be delivered no later than May 25, 2023 to support the NEFSC scientific operations for water quality monitoring to accompany monthly assessments of oyster disease characterization and population biometrics as specified in the solicitation and statement of work.� The purpose of this announcement constitutes a pre-solicitation announcement of a proposed contract action pursuant to FAR 5.204.� This is not a solicitation.� No response is requested at this time.� A formal solicitation will follow this announcement with full details, including a response deadline, statement of work, and instructions to offerors.� The formal solicitation is expected to occur on or around 5 January 2023; hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued.� �INTERESTED PARTIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING THIS WEBSITE FOR CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE AND THE FORMAL SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT.� The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis.� The NAICS code is 334516 with a size standard of 1000 EMP.� Description of Requirement:� Required Specification are incorporated into the Statement of Need identifying the government�s Go/No Go requirements to be utilized for evaluation purposes.� Delivery location of requirement:� NOAA/NMFS/NEFSC/Aquaculture Sustainability Branch, 212 Rogers Road, Milford, Connecticut 06460. Required Delivery Date:� Deliver no later than May 25, 2023. Solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-01, effective December 30, 2022.� This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Procedures.� The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract to the contractor whose offer represents the Best Value based on price and non-price evaluation factors (Price & Technical Specifications).� The solicitation number is 1333MF�23�Q�NFFM-0011? Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon the contractors to monitor the SAM Federal Contract Opportunities site all subsequent amendments. The anticipated award date will be on or about 27 January 2023. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm fixed price order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 (Commercial Acquisition)). All responsible small business concerns/sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency.
