Description
Amendment, 697DCK-23-R-00034 - 00001 The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate responses to questions submitted by the vendors and clarify language in the specifications concerning the demolition and removal of the existing consoles. Please see all submitted questions and aswers on Attachment: A0001 - Questions -Answers - Amendment 0001- 697DCK-23-R-00034 - 01-06-2023 Please see Attachment: A0001 - Floor Penetrations and Obstructions in response to questions 5 and 6 The following is amended in the specifications Page 2, Section 2.1, item B should read , ""The Contractor is responsible for the demolition and removal of existing consoles"". Page 6, Section 5.1 states: FAA Engineering Services will remove existing consoles - This statement is remove in its entirety. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Offeror must ensure all amendments are signed and returned as a part of the proposal package The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) ��has a requirement for the Design, Fabrication, Delivery and Installation of a Slatwall/Consoles system at the Fort Lauderdale Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT). To support this effort the FAA seeking firms possessing the capability and experience necessary to provide modular slat-wall consoles for ATCT Cabs. Durability, efficiency, and flexibility are the keys to the effectiveness of the proposed Slatwall/Consoles system. The equipment must last through the rigors of daily use in an environment where the equipment may be in use 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Specific requirements associated with this effort can be found in the attached SIR documents.The responses to this Screening Information Request (SIR) will be evaluated in order to select the firm that offers the best value to the FAA. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals and intends to award one Firm Fixed Price contract resulting from this SIR. The NAICS code for this procurement is 337214, Office Furniture (Except Wood) Manufacturing, with a small business standard of 1000 employees. This requirement is set aside for small businesses within NAICS 337214. Note: This announcement is not intended to guarantee procurement of the services associated with this effort and must not be construed as commitment by the government to enter into a contract. The FAA will not pay for and is not liable for costs associated with the preparation and submittal of responses to this announcement. Any costs associated with the submission of a response to this request are solely at the interested vendor�s expense. Responses should be submitted electronically to the designated Point of Contact by the due date.
