- The Department of Treasury/Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Office of Information Technology Acquisition (OITA) intends to issue a solicitation for Chief Counsel SharePoint Support.� The Office of Chief Counsel is the legal adviser and attorney to the Commissioner of the IRS. The IRS/Chief Counsel is in the process of transitioning from the current SharePoint 2013 on-premises environment to an M365 SharePoint Online environment.� Chief Counsel will require contractor support within the new environment to include but not limited: assisting users with editing the migrated and new M365 SharePoint Online sites i.e. creating new libraries, lists and pages, editing navigation, setting permissions; answering questions about the new environment; troubleshooting SharePoint issues; developing and testing sites per user requirements, developing and testing Power Apps and Power Automate forms and workflows per user requirements; updating InfoPath forms to Power Apps forms: and training users on the new M365 SharePoint features and functions. OITA anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract from this solicitation. This procurement will be solicited solely through� GSA eBuy website under�General Services Administration�s (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Information Technology (IT), 54151S Information Technology Professional Services.� This requirement will be a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) set-aside. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through www.gsa.ebuy.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring that site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated release date for the solicitation is mid to late February 2023, and the anticipated award date is on or before Jun 30, 2023. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available on the eBuy website,�https://www.ebuy.gsa.gov. The Government is currently not accepting questions in regard to this effort. However, when the Request for Quote (RFQ) is released, there will be a period for vendors to submit questions.� Further details concerning submission of questions�will be released with the RFQ.� All responsible sources may submit a quote via https://www.ebuy.gsa.gov to be considered by this agency. No telephone requests, written requests, or questions for/about this solicitation will be accepted outside of the GSA eBuy site. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will have a six-month base period and four (4) one-year option periods. A detailed Performance Work Statement will be included in the solicitation. This notice does not obligate the IRS/OITA to award a contract, nor does it commit the IRS/OITA to pay any cost incurred in the preparation and submission of proposals.
