- Sources Sought Notice: This is a Sources Sought announcement only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a bid package or solicitation because there is no bid package or solicitation available. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. Description: NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING SYSTEMS COMMAND (NAVFACSYSCOM) EUROPE AFRICA CENTRAL (EURAFCENT) COMMAND is seeking potential sources that are capable of providing a commercial cab, four door flat roof pumper Fire Truck at US Naval Support Facility Naples, Italy. The Pumper is to be European designed and manufactured with warrantee and dealer support in the area.� The pumper shall be provided with a 4x2 chassis, 400-horsepower diesel engine, automatic transmission, rear mounted 1250-gpm (4732 LPM) single stage rear mount fire pump, 792 gallon (3000 liter) water tank, aluminum or composite body equipped with Six (6) enclosed compartments and a hose bed. Vehicles shall be manufactured or have dealer support within 400 km of Naples Italy. The vehicle shall not exceed the following dimensions: Maximum length: ������������������������������������������� 8,000 mm Wheelbase ������������������������������������������������������ 4,300 mm Max. width:����������������������������������������������������� 2,550 mm Max turning diameter (wall to wall):����������������� 18,800mm Max Height (including all accessories): ������������ 3800 mm Max Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR):���� 18,000 kg Tilt angle:�������������������������������������������������������� 26.5� per ECE R29 Acceleration (0-50 km/h):� � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � �Less than 15 sec Top Speed:������������������������������������������������������ 110kph governed The vehicle shall meet or exceed: Approach angle and departure angle: ��������������� At least 16� Ground clearance:������������������������������������������� At least 200mm. The resultant contract for this acquisition, if any, will be a single award contract with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) line items. Firms having the capability to perform this work are invited to submit qualifications information, limited to five (5) pages (8 1/2� x 11�), and are requested to complete Attachment 1: Statement of Interest Questionnaire no later than 24 January, 2023 11:00 AM Central European Time (CET).
