Description

NOTICE OF DECISION TO CONTRACT WITH A SINGLE SOURCE: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, intends to award to a single source contract to CAE Simuflite, Inc. to provide maintenance, technical support for Level D Aircraft Simulators: CAE Boeing 737-800 NG and CAE Airbus 330/320.� In addition, the contractor will provide support for Human-in-the Loop (HITL) studies through software/hardware modification and provide support personnel. The single source vendor is the only known source available that can provide the maintenance and technical support for Level D Aircraft Simulators: CAE Boeing 737-800 NG and CAE Airbus 330/320. Purpose of the Announcement:� In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA�s decision to contract with a selected source via single source procedures.
