Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD BRAND NAME SOLE SOURCE Project Title: CTF-PV045-03 ChromTech tubes delivered on a quarterly basis. Announcement No: FDA-23-1262240 The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a brand name sole source contract to CHROM TECH INC. for delivery of CTF-PV045-03 ChromTech filter tubes.� The total estimated value is less than $105K. This brand name sole source contracting action is a notice pursuant to FAR 5.203(a) for the requirement based on the application of FAR 6.302-1.� This hereby constitutes a synopsis of this requirement. This is an award under NAICS Code 423490. CHROM TECH INC. is the sole-source vendor for CTF-PV045-03 ChromTech tubes. In accordance with the Office of Regulatory Science Standard Operating Procedure SOP-000584, Chloramphenicol and Microwave Assisted Derivatization of Nitrofuran Metabolites in Aquaculture Products Using Solid-Phase Extraction and LCMS/MS, paragraph 6.1.1.J, this specific brand/part number (CTF-PV045-03 ChromTech tubes ) filtration tube must be used to perform this analysis. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of the FDA. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
