- SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy.� As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions. Required item(s) and technical evaluation criteria listed below: Qty 2, Rotary positioner with stick-slip drive, unlimited rotation, precision ceramic bearing, integrated optical encoder (S), UHV-compatible (1e-11 mbar), Kapton-insulated stranded wires, build as HV standard. Qty 2, Goniometer (rotation axis height: 60.5mm) with +/-5� travel and integrated nano sensor (appr. 2?� resolution); mounting pattern rev. 2, HV compatible (1e-6 mbar), Kapton wires in braid, bakeable (max. baking temperature 150�C, stage off), exchangeable drive unit* Qty 2, Positioner with 1480 mm rail, one long carriage with Stick-Slip actuator, ball retained type guideway and integrated nano sensor (1nm resolution, distance-coded reference marks), appr. 1410 mm travel. HV compatible (1e-6 mbar), UHV coating on SLLV42 rail, Kapton insulated wires in a braid, exchangeable drive unit* Qty 6, One straight plug (ODU 1B series, stainless steel, 14 pins), assembly of the cables Qty 6, Adapter cable with Lemo FGJ.1B.314 connector and DSUB-15m connector; with 300cm cable (6x2AWG26, common shielding, PVC sheathing) Qty 14.4, 1m cable for positioners with nano sensors, UHV: 12+1 Kapton-insulated stranded wires Qty 2, 3 UHV vacuum feedthroughs (14 pins, LEMO SGJ compatible), welded into DN40CF flange Qty 3, MCS2 Sensor Module, D-SUB-15 connectors to connect up to three Stick-Slip positioners, sensor type selectable per Module (3 channels), male D-SUB-15 connector to MCS2 controller (cable not included) supported Sensor types: nano sensors (-S), low-cost sensors (-L), and inductive sensors Qty 2, MCS2 control system (Rack module, 3 height units) for up to three positioners or grippers Qty 2, Sensor module cable with DSUB-15m connector and DSUB-15f connector; with 1000cm cable (8x2AWG26, common shielding, PVC sheathing) Quote is for product only; no on-site services permitted. Source selection will be based on Lowest Priced and Technically Acceptable Method (LPTA).
